ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION

ALIGNMENT AND COMMITMENT TO ACTIVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows will leverage their training to establish and sustain a robust local volunteer network and implement high quality showcases of student learning. Through strategic collaboration with educators, community stakeholders, and volunteers, VISTAs will aim to mobilize the local community around student learning and achievement. For Direct Service AmeriCorps Fellows in Massachusetts, they will be in the classroom working closely with students and teachers on developing and implementing EBL projects.

MANAGERIAL CAPACITY AND TRAINING

Fellows require active supervision and coaching to be successful in their role.  In this section, we would like you to identify the supervisor that will oversee the Fellow, provide background on their role at your organization, and summarize the training the Fellow(s) will receive.
